PROCESS All must complete web/outline (will be provided by teacher)
- this project may be completed by a group of 2 or it may be completed individually so please select your choice (please choose a partner if you want to work in a group of 2) - you must plan a scene to draw and complete (make sure everything is ready and planned well so nothing goes wrong during your project) - you must write a 3 paragraph well detailed description of the California Gold Rush - you must write a 1 paragraph well detailed description of the scene - make sure your scene is a challenging scene to draw and write about (i'm not going to let you slide off with an easy A; this project requires hardwork and dedication) - must be creative and colorful (must really depict what it really looked like back then) - make your project as just a portrait self explanatory that it is the Gold Rush (it should be self explanatory incase someone was to just view it the picture vastly){let them get the best impression of it} -HAVE FUN!!! WORK HARD!!! ~Documentary/Film/Cartoon: - gather in groups of 2-3 to complete this project (pick people that you can work togethor with and will make this project the best with) - come up with an idea for your project (please make it entertaining and it must state true facts) - make film/cartoon/documentary ideas original (i do not expect to see any arguements over groups because they believe another group has stolen their idea) {this project is supposed to be fun!} -you are allowed to use any animation programs (REMEMBER YOU ARE NOT ACTUALLY FILMING YOURSELVES THAT WOULD BE FILM/ACTUAL MOVIE YOU ARE MAKING YOUR OWN ANIMATIONAL FILM WITH CARTOON AND ANIMATED FIGURES) -make it 10 min. minumum and 20 min. maximum - HAVE FUN!!! WORK HARD!!!
Film/ Actual Movie: - you need to gather in groups of 3-4 to complete this project (pick people that you can work togethor with and will make this project the best with) - you need to come up with an idea for your project (please make it entertaining and lively yet still anything you say in your film must be true {make sure not to say any false facts}) - you need to wear wardrobe from the actual time period of the gold rush in the film (ex. if your showing a scene of people digging.. then dress how people would dress digging for gold ) -you need to make sure your film ideas original (i do not expect to see any arguements over gorups because they believe another group has stolen their idea) {this project is supposed to be fun!} -make it 12 min. minimum-35 min. maximum -make it inform you on the California Gold Rush -make it CREATIVE, ENTERTAINING, & ORIGINAL - HAVE FUN!!!
